Meet Lynette Thornton - The Plant Lady

Since 1993, I have been known across central Iowa as The Plant Lady. For decades, I poured my passion into the soil—planning, planting, and maintaining vibrant flower gardens.

My journey has always been about the healing power of nature. It began with crafting gentle, nature-infused self-care products like herbal bath bags and scented body oils. Over the years, my deep curiosity about plants grew. I expanded into handcrafted Herbal Blends in 2017 and earned my Master Gardener certification in 2023.

In 2026, Garden consultations are still available, I officially traded my gardening trowel for a deeper focus on botanical medicine, graduating as a Master Herbalist.

Today, my mission is to make herbs and local botanicals accessible to everyone. Whether you are a busy mom trying to keep your family healthy, someone struggling with sensitive skin, or completely new to herbal wellness, I am here to help you understand how simple, natural remedies can support your everyday well-being.
