IMPORTANT TO NOTE!
*Herbs support the body gradually, building momentum over weeks of consistent use rather than delivering a quick fix.
*Skipping days slows your progress, as steady and moderate dosing is required for your body to adapt.
*Unlike immediate medications, herbal blends rely on a compounding effect that only comes from daily repetition.

Honeybush: A caffeine-free, mineral-rich base that provides antioxidants without the astringency of green or black teas, making it easier on a sensitive stomach.
Ginger: Your primary agent for managing CINV (chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting). It also helps clear the "metallic taste" often reported during treatment.
Peppermint: Acts as a carminative to relax the stomach muscles and ease the bloating or cramping that can accompany treatment.
Chamomile: Provides much-needed nervine support for the anxiety and insomnia common during a cancer journey. It is also highly effective for soothing mucositis (inflamed mouth/throat tissues).
Local honey: Honey is rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, and phenolic acids such as kaempferol, quercetin, and caffeic acid, which have immunomodulatory properties. These compounds may help counteract chemotherapy‑induced oxidative stress and inflammatory pathways.

For maximum therapeutic benefit;
Steep 1-2 tablespoons in 8 oz of nearly boiling water for 10–15 minutes (or up to 4 hours for a "rescue" strength infusion, see below).
Once strained, stir in a spoonful of local raw honey to further harmonize the body with your local environment.
Ratio: ¼ cup dry blend per 1 quart of cold water.
Time: Let it sit in the fridge for 8–12 hours (overnight).
Why: Cold steeping is much gentler on the nettle and citrus peels, often resulting in a smoother, less bitter taste while pulling out the maximum minerals.
Serving: Strain and add your local honey (it dissolves better if you whisk a little honey into a tiny bit of warm water first, then pour it into the cold tea)
